ELIGIBILITY for
MEMBERSHIP
SCHOOL PSYCHOLOGISTS: Membership is open to those meeting A or B:
A. Persons with a masters degree or higher in Psychology or School
Psychology and
1. Currently certified or eligible for certification
in School Psychology by the Louisiana Department of Education, or
2. Trained as a school psychologist and currently functioning
as a consultant or supervisor of psychological services, or
3. Primarily engaged in the training of school psychologists
at a college or university.
B. Student in psychology or school psychology.
AFFILIATES (NON-SCHOOL PSYCHOLOGISTS): Membership is also open to other
professionals or groups who share the interests and goals of LSPA. These are
non-voting members who are not eligible for holding office on the Executive
Council. However they shall receive pertinent correspondence (i.e. Newsletter,
News Briefs, etc.) and reduced convention rates.
